Top Greenland explorer meets With Feet of Green team

Friday 18th January saw the meeting at Queen Square Dining Rooms, Bristol of Charlie Paton, one of the most experienced Greenland explorers, with the Feet of Green team. Charlie was the only other explorer to reach the geographic North Pole in the 2000 expedition with Alan Chambers, when they set the record of becoming the first British team to reach the Pole from Canada unassisted.
Charlie is visiting Bristol to help Alan and Peter plan their route as he has recently returned from a trip to Greenland and is aware of the key current challenges. Also shown is Peter Kitson, sponsor and Managing Director of The Great British Mobility Group, Tim Parnell, proprietor of the Queen Square Dining Rooms, which will be the venue for a Bristol based launch event in February, Richard Hale and Alan Chambers.
