BBC reporter Sally Challoner visited Weston Park school and saw Richard Hale presenting to a year 6 class on the expedition. Children asked lots of questions and were fascinated by Alan and Peter’s progress and really want them to visit after the expedition. Richard gave them a challenge of finding out about the migrating geese which the adventurers saw and about the raven in Inuit society. The children were all linked via laptops to the internet and the Feet of Green website and were able to see some of the recently posted pictures and videos from Greenland. Some dressed up as explorers and all of the children tasted some of the re-hydrated food.
