Happy Birthday Peter from Base Camp, Bristol
May 20, 2008 | Filed Under On the Ice |
Wishing you a very, very HAPPY BIRTHDAY from all of us at base camp. There aren’t many people in the world who can say they spent their birthday in Greenland walking across the ice!!
Most impressively you are achieving your dream of educating school children across the UK about climate change and inspiring a sense of adventure at the same time - Well done!
Is there such a thing as de-hydrated birthday cake?

Hi Pete
Wishing you a very happy birthday, if that’s the right thing to say! You won’t forget this one in a hurry. Good luck for the rest of the trip.

Hi Peter
A very Happy Birthday to you from everybody at Drake’s School. The children were delighted to speak with you this morning ~ thank you for calling. There are a few small people hoping very much that you will see at least one polar bear on your travels. I hope you manage it. Good Luck for the rest of your journey.
