Alan and Peter slept badly last night because the wind was so strong and loud that they feared for the security of the tent.
The whole day has been uphill, the weather has been mild. It has been a long and boring day and they are both very tired.
Peter has been delighted with all the good wishes for his birthday.
They stopped at midday to set up the satellite communications system to receive a phone call from BBC Radio Bristol and GWR radio. The BBC Radio Bristol interview can be heard by clicking below:

They have a few blisters and sunburn but the most painful problem they are experiencing is cracked lips.
