Many thanks from Alan & Peter to Great British Mobility Group
May 26, 2008 | Filed Under On the Ice |
I have spoken to Alan and Peter this evening and they are guests with the local police chief who is also the hunter, and his wife, so are relieved that they are being fed this evening as they had not expected to still be in Isortoq. More photos in the On the Ice Gallery above and video footage to follow.
Alan, Peter and I would all like to extend their huge thanks to all the directors of Great British Mobility Group for enabling the expedition to happen, namely to :
Peter Kitson
Tim Hedgecock
Rob Nicholson
Steve Lewis
and to all the staff at GBMG for their support.
They look forward to telling you first hand of the adventure on their return.
Richard

Hi Alan and Peter
Really great news to hear that you have safely and successfully completed the crossing. It was brilliant to speak to you both near the end whilst you were still on the ice - and stuck in the tent in the snow storm!
We have been monitoring your progress throughout the trip and look forward to seeing you at our annual conference in June.
Well done to the whole Feet of Green Team on a great expedition.
Kindest regards from all at
The Great British Mobility Group.
