Come and Welcome Alan & Peter Home Today - Bristol Airport 16:55
June 3, 2008 | Filed Under On the Ice |
We are very pleased to announce that Alan and Peter are today on the final leg of their journey home. They will be catching a flight from Reykjavik in Iceland to Bristol via Amsterdam flying into Bristol Airport at 16:55 on KLM Airline flight KL1053.
Everyone is welcome to come along to the airport to cheer Alan and Peter as they come through the Arrivals terminal at Bristol Airport - I’m sure you would all like to join the rest of the Feet of Green team in celebrating Alan’s and Peter’s amazing achievement of the unassisted crossing of Greenland 2008.
See you there!

Congratulations, Pete and Alan! I’m afraid I’ve only just caught up with your adventures - ‘life’ intervened somewhat in the last few months, preventing me following your trek as I had intended to do originally. But really good to hear that you’re back and that everything went well. Pete, I shall be starting another Challenge Club, at Littletown Primary, in September - can I book you now to come and talk to us?!
All the very best -
Gini
Bravo you have done it! 600 km you must be exhausted from walking that distance from one end to the other. It must have bean terrible waiting for the plane to pick you up at the extraction zone. From Fred at Branscombe School.
GOOD JOB you completed your task in feet of green. I am proud of you and if you do it again I will be even more proud of you. From Emily, Branscombe School
Well done you made it back. I am well impressed you’re home!

I hope you came back safely and you are not hurt. I would like you to come in and tell us about you journey and if you saw any animals. And when you come in I would like to hear from you that you are absolutely alright. From Maryke, Branscombe School

Hi Gini
Yod can book me in for the club and if I can help in anythor way to get the challenge club idea in to other schools just let me know.
The original challenge club concept was amazing and it is spot on with the Feet Of Green idea so I think we should have a coffee some time and a good chat.
Hope you are well
Talk soon
