Herrick Primary School - Wind Turbine Project

Herrick Primary School in Leicester are going to instal a wind turbine at their school so that they can reduce their carbon ‘footprint’. They are very excited because they hope to have it up and running very soon. Year 3 and 4 classes have been doing a project on ‘Weather around the World’ with a link to wind turbines and the children in the eco-club have made a model of a wind turbine to help teach the other children about its purpose. They have sent us some photographs of their model.
