Alan leads group to the South Pole - January 2009…

if you are a follower of Feet of Green you may have wondered what we have been up to recently - here is a quick update - we have been working on securing sponsorship for what we think will be an amazing adventure - taking a group of school students to the geographic North Pole. As you can imagine it is quite costly to do this so we need to find the right sponsors and have several discussions underway. We will keep you updated as soon as we have any news.
MEANWHILE… Alan Chambers has recently led a group to the South Pole - and I had a call from him today just as he had arrived there - he said it is amazing and he is getting plenty of photos and videos which we will post up here. Guess who he met there - Prince Albert of Monaco ! Anyway he has been raising money for a good cause relating to two Royal Marines who were injured in Afghanistan - they are seeking to raise enough money to pursue their new ambitions Zapcat racing and to inspire other injured military to overcome their adversity. last time i heard from you guys was back in july.
well i hope you get your sponsorships sorted out, cuse i would defenatly like to be one of the lucky students to go with you guys to the north pole.
